Watch Again April to June 2021

27/06/2021 6 pm

Evening Service:
Exodus is Necessary

Speaker: Revd. Andrew Attwood

Readings: Exodus 33:1-6 and 12-17, Isaiah 6:1-8, 1 Corinthians 14:24-27.

This talk is an explanation of one key aspect of why we are trying to do church differently. It is a talk focused on the importance of the presence of God, the presence that Moses found before leading the people of Israel out of slavery. Andrew says, "Effective mission and disciple-making naturally flows from surrendered, worshipping, waiting Christian lives."

Andrew's talk is available in written form via this link.

Holy Communion: How does God’s Kingdom Grow?

Leader and Speaker: Robert Latham

Readings: 2 Corinthians 5:6-17, Mark 4:26-34.

Rob asks "Do you love yourself?" He wants you to remember that you are a new creation if you are in Christ (as the first reading states). There's also a quote from St. Bernard of Clairvaux about that which may make you think. When we realise how much God loves us, then through us God's Kingdom will grow.
