Advertisement for Youth Minister post
St. John’s Church Kenilworth is looking for a passionate and dynamic Youth Minister to continue the youth work that has been built over the last few years. The Youth Minister will be committed to seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus.
The role will include:

Leading and developing a disciple-making culture ï‚·

Seeing new disciples made and developed into disciple-makers ï‚·
-
Connecting strongly with the local secondary school ï‚·
-
Partnering with Kenilworth Youth For Christ and other Christian agencies ï‚·

Growing a volunteer base

If you are passionate about young people and long for them to hear and respond to the gospel, we would love to hear from you.
Salary: £23-25K per annum (dependent upon experience) plus up to 5% matched pension contribution
Full time: School term time plus the equivalent of an additional 3 weeks
Location: St John’s Church Offices

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a committed Evangelical Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

The position is dependent on two suitable references, an enhanced DBS check and attendance at regular safeguarding training. The position will be reviewed by the PCC after a 6 months probation period.
