About
We’re a lively, loving church made up of family-style communities covering all ages, from babies to folk in their nineties and everything in between! Everyone is welcome and it’s an easy place to be and to belong.
What’s the best thing about St John’s?
It’s a great place to explore life and faith together in an amazing variety of ways. You’ll find people from all walks of life - employed and not employed; single, married, divorced. Some have kids, some are retired. We have fun together, see life as an adventure, work hard at caring for each other and do our best to make a positive difference in Kenilworth and the wider world. We hope you’d find us pretty normal!
What kind of Church are you?
We’re part of the Church of England and relate warmly to other local churches under the banner of ‘Love Kenilworth’. Whilst many of us gather at our Warwick Road site, we also have a sister church (Knights Meadow) which meets at Kenilworth School. Some of our communities have a more traditional feel, others include more informal styles of worship. We want to listen to what God is saying today, through the Bible and in other ways, and be open to the Holy Spirit to change us and the world around us.
What if I’m coming with kids?
We’re a rich mixture of children, youth and adults with dedicated teams to help young and old grow together in becoming like Jesus, making disciples and bringing real change. Our main services include special groups for children and youth most weeks and our Staff Team includes a Youth Worker.
